Overview

A review of the main impacts an organisation can have on the environment, together with how the environment can have an impact on organisations.

As ISO 14001 requires organisations to determine and ‘evaluate’ their environmental aspects/impacts, this presentation also outlines a  methodology based on a risk assessment approach, which could also be incorporated into an integrated management system.

Speaker: Robin Bloodworth, BSc (Hons) MSc CFIOSH MIEMA CEnv, of RJB Training, is a consultant/trainer lecturing on public courses such as the NEBOSH Diploma and delivering bespoke health & safety courses for companies such as Jaguar Land Rover, BAE Systems,ABB and DSV.

Robin has been working as a health, safety and environmental specialist in industry and local government since 1977. Key positions have included working as Product Development and Delivery Lead for the EEF and Health and Safety Adviser to Dairy Crest Dairies.

Career highlights have been to develop the EEF/Oxford Brookes University MSc in HSE Management and the Advanced Diploma in Health, Safety and Risk management.Robin was also a key player in piloting the IEMA Certificate in Environmental Management and the IEMA Diploma in Sustainable Business Practice.
