The content of this Yorkshire branch regional meeting has been influenced by the changing face of the world of work and the challenges that this brings for organisations and for health and safety professionals.

Some techniques have been provided after reviewing the latest studies on how individuals learn. The programme follows a structured approach by splitting “communication – behaviour” into three categories namely: science, mechanics and the art.

This approach provides an understanding of how an individual’s brain reacts in a training session; how the trainer may make a training session fit the traits of the learner, and provides examples of the “art” of training.

The speakers providing these insights are from backgrounds in health and safety, resilience coaching, and human behaviourists. Some of these presentations will be participative.

This draft timetable is subject to change but the start and end times will remain the same.

Speaker: Michelle Muxworthy IOSH Vice President, Adele Gunn , Russell Harvey and Quentin Emery
