What we are up to

IOSH staff speaking to delegates at the IOSH conference stand

From campaigning on key issues, lobbying governments on policy and law to developing new health and safety tools, our work keeps us very busy! Here's a taster of what we've recently been up to and what's happening soon.

Recent highlights

IOSH recently commented on the Hackitt Inquiry’s interim report on building regulations and fire safety. We were pleased to see a number of our major points highlighted, notably on the adequacy and clarity of current regulation, competency requirements and roles and responsibilities of duty holders. You can read our original submission in the consultations section of the website.

In Bangladesh, IOSH continues to fund training for workers, which will enable them to deliver workshops to raise health and safety standards in factories and communities across the country.

What's coming up?

HSE have a consultation out on the implementation of new and revised Workplace Exposure Limits, which we’d like to draw your attention to.

If you’ve seen a consultation in your country that you think IOSH should respond to, please let us know at publicaffairs@iosh.com.
